FOOD PANTRY

The church serves thousands of our neighbors through this outreach ministry.  If you would like to help, both volunteers and food donations are neededFood pantry hours are Wednesdays from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm.  You can support the ministry by donating non-perishable food and personal care items.  Donations can be placed in the bin located in the foyer.  Financial donations are also accepted; mark your  tithe envelopes Community Services. Questions can be directed to Elder Herb Joseph.
 

UNABLE TO COME TO CHURCH?

Consider joining the Friday prayer line or  Remote Sabbath School class.  Both are groups that meet telephonically Friday nights at 7 pm and Sabbath Morning at 9:30 am.  Join fellow Alaskans across the state for prayer and study.  Call 1-800-719-6100, access code 4760107.
 

SAFETY PRACTICES

The west side entrance of the church will be locked at 11 a.m. every Sabbath.  Please enter through the main doors.

Each Friday, Pastor Jim sends a voice message to all members providing information about Sabbath services.  Please see Nan Peters or Ann Altaffer to ensure you are getting current and important information about Northside church life.

Pastor Jim and Darla John

Pastor Jim and Darla John are passionate about sharing how much God loves all of His children.  Throughout 33 years of ministry together, their greatest joy is seeing God's family circle become larger.

Darla enjoys her teaching ministry in early childhood education and working with families.  Jim has spent the majority of his career in business bringing Christ into the marketplace and boardroom.  He transitioned from business, church planting, lay pastoring and lay evangelism into full-time pastoral ministry in 2013.  Jim and Darla have three adult children: Erin, Melissa and Matthew.
