Anchorage Northside believes that it takes the congregation as a whole to reach the community. We have several strong, well-established ministries that we invite you to participate in.
Food Bank
The Anchorage Northside members work with local agencies such as the Food Bank of Alaska, operates a food bank for our friends and neighbors each Thursday evening. Those wishing to participate, please enter the building using the door on the west side of the building.
Friday Lights | 1st & 3rd Fridays 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Friday Lights meets the first and third Friday of each month at the Anchorage Northside Church. If you are ages 13-20, come eat, have fun and hang out. For details and to be added to the Friday Lights group, text 720-318-9968 with your name and the word “Friday”.
Singspiration | Sabbaths 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Looking for something to do Sabbath afternoons? Why not join the church family at Anchorage Northside Church for song and fellowship? Members gather at the church to sing and visit with patients and their families, many of which are hundreds of miles from home. What a great way to spend the afternoon and share the love of Jesus through music and a smile.
Media Team | Ongoing
The media ministry team is responsible for the "behind the scenes" activities that make our programs work well: lighting, sound, stage management, etc. This ministry is vital to not only making our services enjoyable, but more importantly staying connected to those who cannot worship with us physically.
We are always looking for talented people to join our team. If you are technologically gifted and/or have an interest in media, audio, video, social media or website programming, please let us know.
